"description": "Hello and welcome to Army Pigment! My name is Nathan and I am a miniature painting enthusiast and designer. \n\nFor years I wanted one place that could actually keep up with my hobby — not just my paint schemes, but the whole ecosystem from creator news to the latest releases. I tried so many apps but none of them seemed to do it for me. So I built my own.\n\nArmy Pigment is my passion project. The goal is to build a product that lets you take your hobby with you wherever you go.\n\nThis is more than a painting app. It’s a pocket companion for people who collect colour, chase recipes, and still want to know what’s happening in the world of miniature art. It’s streamlined, sleek, and finally a joy to look at — the tool I always wished existed. And we’re just getting started.\n\nWhat’s inside\n\nThe collection\nCatalogues across the big brands. Own it, wishlist it, count the pots, see how complete a range actually is. Built for enthusiasts who want to collect them all and are sick of duplicate purchases.\n\nThe mixes\nNo more typing out ratios. Tap your drops into your mixes and save them with ease and visual style. Nail that recipe six months later instead of reconstructing it from a blurry photo of paints lined up. (We’ve all done it.)\n\nThe hobby feed\nNews and creators in one place. Follow your favorite paint brands and painters to stay on top of the creative hype.\n\nLive Home Screen widgets\nYour collection and wishlists at a glance — the hobby and its top creators, right on your Home Screen. Never miss a new release.\n\nNative on iPad\nBuilt from the ground up for your desk next to your wet palette. Not a phone layout stretched until the pixels break.\n\nClean and beautiful design\nLiquid Glass throughout. We’re artists — the tool should feel good to look at, not just get the job done.\n\nCustom app icons\nBecause your Home Screen is part of the hobby too and should follow you to old worlds or the grim dark future.\n\nBottle scanner\nPoint it at the pot while you’re working, without a glitchy barcode scanner that only works half the time. Add it. Keep painting.\n\nSign in with Apple + iCloud sync (Premium)\nPhone and iPad stay in lockstep.\n\nFree to start.\n\nPremium is $12.99 a year and unlocks unlimited paints and mixes, unlimited project folders, iCloud sync, custom icons, and collection widgets.\n\nI’m one designer and enthusiast building this in my spare time because I know what I want from a companion tool. The locker and the mixes are just the start. The hobby’s horizon is the goal. Thanks for following along — I hope you enjoy what’s here, and what’s coming.\n\nWelcome, fellow hobbyists.\n\nStay in touch — this is just the beginning. It’s been a lot of work, but I’m confident it’ll be a fantastic addition to your creative journey. Connect with me if you find bugs or have feature ideas you’ve always wanted in a hobby companion.\n\nTerms of Use: https://nlynnstl-ops.github.io/army-pigment-site/#terms\nApple Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/\nPrivacy Policy: https://nlynnstl-ops.github.io/army-pigment-site/#privacy",
