{ "name": "Belong Switzerland", "tagline": "Swiss citizenship takes years", "description": "Swiss citizenship takes years. Belong Switzerland keeps the count honest, from today to the day you can apply, and through the wait after.\n\nAnswer a few questions and Belong Switzerland shows your real distance to citizenship: which route applies, what you have met and what still stands between you and the decision. Plus 418 practice questions on Swiss civics.\n\nYOUR ROUTE, CLEARLY\nOrdinary naturalisation under article 9 of the Citizenship Act: ten years in Switzerland (three of them in the five years before you apply) and a C permit\nSimplified naturalisation under article 21 for the spouse of a Swiss citizen: five years in Switzerland and three of marriage\nEvery requirement explained: residence, the C permit, B1 spoken and A2 written, knowledge of Switzerland, work or education and a clean record\nSourced: each rule links to the law on fedlex.admin.ch\nPlan a trip and see what the days away would do to your residence, against the six month line. Nothing counts until it has happened\n\nSTAGE ONE: THE C PERMIT\nThe Path tab opens with the C permit under article 34 AIG, with your years counted\nAdd the day your B permit ends: a countdown, with the three month window and the 14 day deadline for your extension\n\nA SECOND PERSON ON THE SAME IPHONE\nAdd your partner, or another adult, and they get their own count: route, years, trips. A trip you took together is logged once and counted for both. Everything stays on the phone. Send the app to a friend from the You tab\n\nAFTER YOU APPLY\nTell the app the day you filed and the Dashboard follows the wait: days since filing, SEM's page one tap away, updates you log from your letters. A reply window becomes a date ahead and an alert. No expected decision date, because none is published\n\n418 PRACTICE QUESTIONS\nSwitzerland has no national test: your canton checks your knowledge its own way. The questions cover the four areas the Citizenship Ordinance names\nIn Swiss Standard German with an English line under each. The questions are ours, not written by any authority\nYour canton's own questions are named as a gap, not guessed. No mock, because there is no national paper\nToday's five, a minute a day, with a reminder that quotes a waiting question. Chapter drills, a mistakes deck and progress by chapter\n\nTHE GUIDES, ON YOUR IPHONE\nFive guides to the Swiss rules inside the app, each dated to the day its facts were checked, readable offline\n\nWHAT'S COMING\nThe dates ahead, on your dashboard: residence time complete, a trip ending, a permit ending, a document expiring. Optional alerts open the screen they name\n\nTHE PASSPORT AT THE END\nThe real cover of Pass 22, with validity, the fee, where to apply and dual citizenship, allowed since 1992, checked with ch.ch. Add your name and photo\n\nON YOUR HOME SCREEN\nFour widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen: residence time so far, longest stay abroad, today's five and the newest story from The Local\n\nYOUR DOCUMENTS, ON YOUR IPHONE\nAttach the evidence for each requirement and note when it expires. Documents stay on your iPhone, encrypted while it is locked, out of your backup. Belong Switzerland never sees them\n\nSTAY INFORMED\nImmigration and citizenship news from The Local Switzerland, with optional alerts. Some stories need their subscription\n\nHONEST BY DESIGN\nNo fake finish dates. Belong Switzerland tells you what is in your hands, what is not and what the next step is. An independent app by Belong Europe ApS, not a government service and not affiliated with SEM, any canton or any commune. A tracker, not legal advice: verify your case with your canton's naturalisation office or a lawyer.
