"description": "How was today? elou asks one question and keeps your answer as a single colored square. Over time the squares become a year you can read at a glance.\n\nONE TAP A DAY\nPick Good, Okay or Bad. That's it. If you want to say a little more, add a short note about what made the day feel that way.\n\nYOUR YEAR, IN COLOR\nEvery day you log fills in a square on your year ribbon: sage for good, sand for okay, terracotta for bad. Swipe back to see earlier years, and see how many days you've logged in each one.\n\nLOOK BACK, GENTLY\nTap any day to read what you wrote. Your most recent entries sit under Lately, so the last few days are always close by.\n\nMISSED A DAY?\nTap its empty square and fill it in. You can edit any entry later, too.\n\nEVERY MOOD COUNTS\nThe colors are earthy on purpose. A bad day isn't an error, and logging one counts as much as logging a good one.\n\nPRIVATE BY DESIGN\nYour entries stay on your iPhone. There's no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and no ads, analytics or tracking. elou never connects to the internet, so your notes are never sent anywhere.",
