It adds wind, wind against the ebb, inlet-specific guidance, and never shows a level below an official advisory in effect.\n\nHONEST ABOUT ACCURACY\n• Seven inlets use NOAA's official current predictions, as published.\n• The other nine have no NOAA current station. Rather than guess, the app assumes the ebb may run over a wide window and tells you so: expect more \"Hazardous\" hours there.\n• Wave forecasts were checked against the six NOAA buoys along the coast. When a buoy measures bigger waves than forecast, the app raises the forecast — it never lowers it.\n• No \"Lower risk\" is shown if advisories or forecasts could not be refreshed: you see \"No data\" instead of an old level.\n\nIMPORTANT\nFlorida Inlet Watch is not a navigation aid. \"Lower risk\" never means \"safe\". Sandbars move, sometimes overnight, and models miss squalls and local effects.
