"description": "Your training plan tells you what to do. Fuelog works out what to eat: carb targets that move with your load, and a race-day plan split by leg.\n\nMost nutrition apps were built for dieting. Fuelog is built for fueling.\n\nTHE ENDURANCE ENGINE\n\nPERIODIZED CARBOHYDRATE\nYour daily carb target is calculated from intensity-weighted training hours and where you are in the season - off-season, base, build, peak, taper or race week - anywhere from 3 to 12 g/kg. A rest day and a five-hour ride are not the same day, and a single multiplier cannot express that.\n\nCARBOHYDRATE PROTECTED, NOT LEFT OVER\nMost apps set protein, then fat, and hand carbohydrate whatever remains. For a lifter that is right. Fuelog reserves carbohydrate first for endurance athletes, then protein, then fat - and if the calorie budget cannot hold all three, it shows you the exact shortfall instead of quietly shaving carbs.\n\nRACE-DAY FUELING, LEG BY LEG\nChoose sprint, Olympic, 70.3 or full distance, enter your expected splits, and Fuelog builds the plan: carbs per hour, fluid and sodium for each leg. Rates differ by discipline - the bike carries the most, the run less, the swim none - and every rate is capped by the carb rate you have actually practiced in training, not a number off a forum.\n\nGUT TRAINING\nEnter where you fuel now and where you want to be. Fuelog lays out the ramp - roughly +10 g/h every two and a half weeks - and the week each step starts. If the race is too close to close the gap, it says so and gives you the rate that is reachable.\n\nSWEAT-RATE TEST\nWeigh in before and after a session, enter what you drank, and Fuelog calculates your sweat rate in liters per hour, then uses it for the fluid and sodium in your race plan.\n\nENERGY AVAILABILITY\nIntake minus exercise energy, divided by your lean mass. Most tracking apps never calculate it. Fuelog shows it every day.\n\nCARB LOADING AND MIXED SOURCES\nWhen a long race is 1-2 days out, your target moves on its own. Above 60 g/h your plan flags that a single-source product will not absorb fast enough and gives you the glucose-to-fructose ratio to look for.\n\nEVERYDAY LOGGING\n- Photo logging: point at your plate and AI reads the food and the portion\n- Voice and text logging, plus a barcode scanner\n- An AI coach that sees today's sessions, your phase, your race date and your carb target before it answers\n- AI meal plans, recipes and grocery lists built to your targets\n- Workout tracking and AI-built training programs\n- Micronutrients, blood work scanning and InBody body-composition tracking\n\nWEARABLES\nSyncs with Apple Health, Whoop and Garmin. Fuelog reads what your watch actually recorded and subtracts the resting energy you would have burned anyway, so training is not counted twice.\n\nNOT ONLY TRIATHLETES\nFuelog ships coaching profiles for 20+ sports - lifting, running, cycling, swimming, rowing, climbing, team sports, yoga and general fitness. Choose a strength sport and you get the standard macro engine; the endurance fields never appear. Pick powerlifting and you will never see a sweat-rate test.\n\nPRICING\nFree to download. Fuelog Pro includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, then $9.99/month or $79.99/year. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.\n\nFuelog is a nutrition and training tracker. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition.\n\nTerms: https://fuelog.app/terms\nPrivacy: https://fuelog.app/privacy",
