"description": "Gin rummy online, the classic two-player card game: draw, discard, build your melds, then knock or go gin before your opponent does. Every hand is a race to cut your deadwood down – sets of the same rank, runs of the same suit, and one sharp decision about when to knock.\n\nFree with ads, ad-free option available – play the full game for free, or remove the ads whenever you like.\nNo registration needed – just start and play.\n\nONLINE OR TRAINING\nPlay head-to-head against real opponents in public rooms, or train offline against the computer. Open a private table with a three-digit room code and invite a friend.\n\nCHAT & EMOJIS\nTalk to your opponent, send emojis and animated stickers, and enjoy the banter between hands.\n\nLEADERBOARDS\nDaily, weekly, monthly and all-time leaderboards – climb your way to the top.\n\nDAILY CHALLENGES\nFresh objectives every day, like going gin or winning a hand by undercut. Complete them and collect credits.\n\nYOUR CARD DECK\nChoose between French, Swiss and Italian card faces – whatever feels right in your hand.\n\nHOW TO PLAY\n• Two players, one standard 52-card deck, ten cards each\n• Sets are three or four cards of the same rank; runs are three or more cards in sequence in the same suit\n• On your turn, draw one card from the stock or the discard pile, then discard one card face-up\n• Melds stay hidden until the hand ends\n• Card values: Ace 1, number cards at face value, Jack, Queen and King 10 each\n• Knock when your deadwood – the cards left outside your melds – is 10 or less\n• Go gin when all ten cards form melds: the gin bonus is 20 points and your opponent may not lay off\n• If the knocker is not gin, the defender may lay off unmatched cards onto the knocker's melds\n• Undercut: if the defender's deadwood ends up equal or lower, they score the difference plus a 10-point bonus\n• If the stock is down to its last two cards, the hand is a draw and a new one begins\n• Matches run to a fixed point total, from 50 up to 100 depending on the table\n\nGin rummy is also known as gin, gin rommé and rommee, and sits alongside classics like rummy, canasta, cribbage and pinochle. If you enjoy rummy card games, knock-and-meld strategy or a quick duel between hands, this one is for you.\n\nSort your hand, watch the discard pile and pick your moment to knock.",
