"description": "Glovework turns Apple Watch into a boxing round timer that counts your punches.\n\nSet your rounds, put the watch on your lead or rear hand and start. A bell opens each round, a clapper marks the last 10 seconds, and the rest counts down on your wrist. While you work, the watch counts the punches thrown with that hand, times them and estimates your peak wrist speed.\n\nEvery number carries a stamp. Estimated means it comes from the watch's motion sensors; How we measure shows the expected error and our bench results as they land. Measured is used only for numbers that have passed our video test, and for heart rate from Apple Watch. Glovework never claims punch force.\n\nFree, and complete for training\n- Rounds, rests, bells and haptics\n- Punch count and pace for every round\n- Peak wrist speed, and whether your speed held steady or faded across rounds\n- Snap time and a Punch Score\n- Heart rate, saved to Health as a Boxing workout\n- Combo drill: checks the punches of a combination thrown with your watch hand\n- Reaction drill: times how fast you answer a buzz on your wrist\n- Record yourself: prop the phone up, start rounds from the strip, and the numbers from your watch are written onto the clip when you save\n\nGlovework Pro, one purchase\nPro adds your full session history (free shows the last 30 days), Game Center boards and gym challenge codes, the square 1:1 share card, CSV export, and watch complications that show your last session and the live round. It is a single one-time purchase with Family Sharing, not a subscription. Everything above stays free, including the boxing measurements.\n\nNo watch yet? Try a sample session on iPhone to see the session screens, the charts and the share card.\n\nOnly the hand wearing the watch is counted. Glovework is made for shadowboxing, mitt work and bag rounds with gloves and wraps on. Never hit anything with the watch exposed.\n\nNo ads. More sports are on the way.",
