"description": "Take back control of your screen time.\n\nHow many times have you opened an app without even thinking about it?\n\nYou pick up your phone to check one thing. A few minutes later, you’re still scrolling.\n\nIntent is designed to interrupt that autopilot.\n\nWhen you open an app you’ve chosen to protect, Intent creates a simple pause between the impulse and the action. Take a breath. Ask yourself if you really want to continue. Then make a conscious choice.\n\nYOUR PHONE. YOUR CHOICE.\n\nIntent doesn’t lock you out of your apps or decide what’s good for you. You’re always in control.\n\nIf you choose to continue, simply decide how much time you want to spend — 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, or a custom duration. When your time is up, Intent steps in again.\n\nNo guilt. No punishment. Just a moment to choose.\n\nWHAT INTENT GIVES YOU\n\n• Pause before you scroll\nA short breathing pause helps break the automatic open-and-scroll habit.\n\n• Choose your time\nDecide how long you actually want to spend in an app instead of realizing later how much time disappeared.\n\n• See your habits\nSimple, private statistics help you see your decisions and become more aware of how you use your phone.\n\n• Focus\nSet a timer, put distractions aside, and give your attention to one thing at a time.\n\n• Meditate\nSlow down with simple breathing sessions and calming sounds including rain, forest, ocean and brown noise.\n\nPRIVATE BY DESIGN\n\nYour habits are personal. Intent keeps them that way.\n\n• No account or sign-up\n• No ads\n• No tracking\n• No telemetry\n• No remote servers\n• Your selected apps and activity stay on your device\n\nIntent is built using Apple’s Screen Time technologies and works directly on your iPhone.\n\nYour phone should be something you choose to use — not something you open without thinking.\n\nPause. Breathe. Choose.\nMake your screen time a choice again.",
