Each run draws a different hand of them, so no two runs play alike.\n\nFOUR SUITS, FOUR WAYS TO LOSE\nSpades cut: a tighter limit, a foundation that costs you, and the Clock. Hearts drown: cards sink as time goes by. Diamonds charge: a toll on every favor, interest on the stock, a crooked foundation. Clubs hide: mist over the cards and columns that move.\n\nFAVORS\nBetween tables, King Nobody opens his booth. He sells you the favors that break the court's rules, because he wants the throne empty for himself. Every rule has its counter; finding it is the game. Nothing you buy survives the run.
