A declared value is what the customer told you and nothing more. Nothing in the app says a record is required, because no jurisdiction found requires one. Keeping the record reduces disagreement about the condition an item arrived in; it does not remove it, and it does not affect anyone's legal rights.\n\nYOUR RECORDS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE\n\nCustomers, jobs, photographs and signatures are stored on the phone. There is no account and no sign in. Backup and restore is one file and it is not behind the paywall, because your record of somebody else's property should not be. The app does send crash reports and anonymous usage statistics.
