"description": "Lapforge turns the phone on your dash into a lap timer for HPDE days, club track days and practice sessions.\n\nPress GO, drive through your start line, and each lap is timed from GPS. Lapforge places the crossing between two GPS readings instead of waiting for the next one, so a lap is not rounded to the nearest second. Your best and last lap sit in big condensed digits you can read at a glance, and the circuit is drawn as a racing line with your position on it.\n\nBuilt not to lose a session\nEvery GPS point is written to the phone as you drive. If the app is closed mid-session, the laps are there when you open it again. The screen stays awake while timing, and finishing takes a one-second hold, so a bump with a glove does not end your run.\n\nKnows the track\nLapforge recognizes more than 350 US road courses, ovals and kart tracks from OpenStreetMap outlines and remembers the start line you set at each one. At a track that is not on the list, set your own line as you cross it.\n\nLapforge Pro\n• Live delta: how far ahead or behind your best lap you are, updated every second\n• Sector splits: every lap split into three equal-distance sectors, at any track\n• Lap comparison: a trace of where each lap gained or lost time against your best\n• Conditions: air temperature, humidity, wind and density altitude from the nearest National Weather Service station, saved with the session\n• CSV export of every lap and GPS point\n\nFree, with no account: lap timing, best and last lap, track detection, saved start lines and your whole lap history. A share card for your best lap is free too.\n\nPhone GPS updates about once a second, and accuracy depends on your phone and the sky. The timing screen shows the current GPS accuracy so you know how much to trust a lap.\n\nPro comes three ways: yearly, where the first 7 days cost nothing, monthly, or lifetime for one payment. Yearly and monthly plans bill again by themselves. To stop one before it bills, cancel it under Subscriptions in your iPhone's Settings with at least a day to spare.\n\nTerms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/\nPrivacy Policy: https://app-factory-privacy-policy.vercel.app/#lapforge",
