"description": "Letruga teaches children aged 3 to 7 to read in English, step by step: the sound of each letter, blending sounds into words, and their very first stories. Synthetic phonics, the way schools teach it.\n\nEvery sound your child learns becomes a new segment of Letruga, the friendly caterpillar who reads along with them.\n\nTHE SCHOOL METHOD\nSystematic synthetic phonics in the classic Letters and Sounds order: s a t p, i n m d… all the way to sh, ch, th, ng and the vowel teams ai, ee, igh, oa, oo, ar, or. 46 stops across 8 worlds.\n\nONLY WHAT THEY ALREADY KNOW\nEvery word, sentence and story uses only the sounds your child has learned. Tricky words like the, to and was are introduced one at a time. We never ask them to read a sound they haven't been taught.\n\nGAMES THAT TEACH\n• Meet each sound with a picture word\n• Trace letters with the right stroke order and direction\n• Sound buttons: tap each sound, blend, read the word\n• Blend sounds into words: s + at = sat\n• Spell words with sound tiles\n• Rhymes and clapping games to tune the ear\n• Read and choose the picture, then read whole sentences\n\nTHEIR SCHOOL LETTERS\nPrint, capitals or joined handwriting: choose the style their school uses.\n\nSTORIES THAT GROW WITH THEM\nDecodable stories that unlock as they learn new sounds, each with a comprehension question at the end.\n\nA LITTLE EVERY DAY\nA short daily practice with what they find hardest, day streaks, stickers, costumes for Letruga and a diploma at the end of every world.\n\nFOR PARENTS\nProgress for every sound and word, minutes practised, printable worksheets, a daily reminder and a screen-time limit. Up to 4 children.\n\nSAFE FOR CHILDREN\nNo ads, no accounts and no data leaving the device. Purchases and links sit behind a parental gate.\n\nLETRUGA FAMILIA\nTry the first sounds for free. To carry on: a monthly or yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial, or the full course with a single payment. Shared with your family. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.\n\nPrivacy: https://letruga-app.web.app/privacy.html\nTerms: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/",
