On the second it holds four. By the third it has seen enough of your real spread to stop padding at all, and those minutes become sleep.\n\nThe model never sets your alarm. That number comes from your measured mornings, on purpose: a model can be wrong by an hour and sound certain. It reads, it explains, it offers you one thing to change.\n\nHOW IT MEASURES\n\nTwo moments, both exact, neither of which you record.\n\nThe alarm going off. It is our alarm, so the time is precise and snoozes are counted.\n\nLeaving home. A geofence around one point, your home, notices the door.\n\nThe gap between them is your real morning. Ask anyone and they will say twenty minutes. Almost nobody is right.\n\nWHERE THE ALARM LANDS\n\nIt is set from the eightieth percentile of your own mornings, not the average, so four in five have slack and the fifth is tight. An average alarm makes you late half the time.\n\nIt asks Maps at the hour you actually leave, not at midnight when the road is empty.\n\nIt tells you what tomorrow will cost before you sleep. A hard freeze means a windshield to scrape. The first day back after a long weekend puts everybody on the road at once.\n\nYOUR CALENDAR, READ FOR YOU\n\nDentist at 7:30 tomorrow? If the first thing on your calendar starts before you usually get in, Linger AI flags it, and with Premium it moves the alarm for it and tells you by how much. A later start is only ever offered, never applied on its own. Google calendars on your iPhone count too.\n\nIt checks again overnight while you charge, so the alarm is right even if you never open the app.\n\nIF ONE ALARM IS NEVER ENOUGH\n\nIf you set three alarms and get up on the third, Linger AI can ring that way at the same wake time, so it costs no extra sleep. How many rings and how far apart is learned from your own snoozes.\n\nA REAL ALARM\n\nLinger AI uses the system alarm, so it rings through Silent mode and Focus, just like the Clock app. Six sounds. A snooze sized to the slack your plan is carrying.\n\nYou also say how early you want to arrive, and it holds that back. Five minutes by default.
