"description": "Close the ring cleanly. LotSlate helps livestock auction clerks record winning bids, divide buyer shares, track premiums, and reconcile the sale from an iPad or iPhone—even without an internet connection.\n\nPREPARE YOUR SALE\nImport exhibitors, buyers, lots, weights, sale order, and premiums from CSV files. Map your columns, review preflight warnings, and make changes before the lot closes. Or enter records directly in the app.\n\nKEEP UP WITH THE RING\nSee the current lot and sale queue. Enter per-pound or flat bids with a large keypad, choose a winning buyer or buyer group, and allocate split purchases by percentage. Review the calculation before closing each lot.\n\nKEEP A CLEAR RECORD\nEvery closed lot saves a receipt locally. Corrections preserve the original record and require a reason plus a different countersigner. Track sold, resale, donation, and no-sale dispositions.\n\nRECONCILE AND EXPORT\nReview totals by buyer, exhibitor, species, and disposition. Countersign the completed closeout. Export accounting CSV files, printable PDF reports, and a complete JSON backup. Share buyer and exhibitor slips or print through AirPrint.\n\nPRACTICE BEFORE SALE DAY\nExplore a fictional 15-lot practice sale to learn the workflow before creating your own event.\n\nNo account, advertising, analytics, or cloud service. Records stay on your device unless you choose to export, share, or print them. Device backups follow your iOS settings.\n\nLotSlate uses U.S. dollars and pounds. It records sales; it does not process payments or conduct an online auction. Clerk and countersigner names are entered attestations. Make regular JSON backups and verify your records before using them for settlement.\n\nOne upfront purchase. All features included. No subscriptions, in-app purchases, or per-event fees.",
