"description": "Tips that read the same both ways.\n\nMirror Jar rounds your tip up so the total is a palindrome, like $45.54 or $123.21: easy to remember, and easy to check on your card statement. If the charge on your statement isn't a palindrome, you'll know at a glance that something changed.\n\nWHY PALINDROME TOTALS?\nIt's a well-known diner's trick. When the total reads the same forwards and backwards, any change made after you sign stands out right away. Mirror Jar does the math instantly, right at the table.\n\nHOW IT WORKS\n• Open the app and type the bill. The keypad is ready instantly.\n• Palindrome totals for 15%, 20% and 25% appear as you type. Tap one to see the receipt.\n• Or tap \"Show all tips\" for 17 options from 5% to 100%, each rounded up to the next palindrome. Never down, so you never under-tip.\n• Every option shows the real tip percentage after rounding, so you always know exactly what you're leaving.\n\nSPLIT THE CHECK\n• Split the bill between 2 and 6 people.\n• Each person's amount is a palindrome too, so everyone can check their own statement.\n\nSHOW IT TO YOUR SERVER\n• A full-brightness receipt card shows the tip and total clearly, even in a dim restaurant or bar.\n\nPICK YOUR MOOD\n• Five hand-made looks, from bold Blood orange, Riviera and Spritz noir to calm Porcelain and Linen and ink.\n• Your home screen icon changes to match.\n\nDESIGNED TO FEEL GREAT\n• Liquid Glass design that feels at home on iOS.\n• Satisfying haptics and smooth animations.\n• A fresh palindrome greets you every time you open it.\n• Made for iPad and iPhone Duo: the keypad and the tips sit side by side, and on iPhone Duo the app unfolds like a book, with your total flipping open from its own reflection.\n• Supports larger text sizes, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion.\n\nPRIVATE BY DESIGN\n• Free. No ads, no in-app purchases.\n• No account, no sign-up, no tracking. Nothing you type leaves your phone.\n\nGreat for dinners, date nights, happy hour, delivery and group outings.",
