MotionClutch scans the formats your iPhone actually supports and shows what each one costs: field-of-view crop, sensor binning, disk usage, thermal risk. It recommends; it does not decide. The final call is yours.\n\nNO RE-ENCODING\nThe cache and the live recording are merged without re-encoding (passthrough). A 30-minute recording merges in seconds — no battery drain, no heat, no quality loss.\n\nIT PROTECTS ITSELF\n• Staged thermal backoff when the device heats up — you are told exactly what changed, and you choose what happens at each stage\n• Warns before the disk fills, ends the recording safely when it does\n• Detects capture interruptions (lock, another app) and says so; it never silently pretends to be recording\n• If the app dies mid-recording, the partial recording is found on next launch and you decide what happens to it\n\nIT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE\nNo account, no cloud, no sync, no analytics.
