"description": "STEP COUNTS\nOptionally connect read-only Apple Health access to see your daily steps and steps during recorded walks and runs. Counts can arrive with a delay and may be approximate around pause boundaries. No readable samples are shown as no data. Step totals stay on this phone and are not included in MyWay cloud backups or the leaderboard. You can disconnect in the steps card and manage permission in Apple Health.\n\nTurn an everyday walk into a city adventure. MyWay saves your walks and runs and reveals the places you have explored on your personal map.\n\nSMALL SURPRISES, NEW DISCOVERIES\nNew territory comes with a short celebration. Explore the animated tabs, tap the compass in your results and look for a hidden surprise on the map. Effects respect your device’s Reduce Motion setting.\n\nCHOOSE YOUR BATTERY USAGE\nChoose Standard for more frequent updates, or Battery saver for fewer location and map updates. In Battery saver, sharp turns may be less detailed.\n\nDISCOVER NEW PLACES\nStart a walk or run, pause recording and finish when you return. See your distance and the area you have explored. Journeys by transport are saved separately and do not reveal the map as a walk would.\n\nKEEP YOUR HISTORY\nRevisit completed routes, correct the activity type and delete recordings you no longer need. Your map is recalculated from the history you keep.\n\nFIND A WALK\nGet a suggested circular walking route through new places. On iPhone, routes use Apple Maps without a personal API key. Maps and walking suggestions require an internet connection.\n\nCONTROL YOUR RECORDING\nStart recording manually or enable background exploration separately in Settings. Background location helps continue recording while the screen is locked, and motion access helps distinguish walking from transport.\n\nCHOOSE YOUR LANGUAGE\nMyWay starts in English. You can also use Latvian or Russian. Choose a language in Settings or follow your device language. Your choice is saved, and switching languages does not interrupt recording.\n\nYOUR PERSONAL MAP, ON YOUR PHONE\nNo advertising or subscription. Recording works without an account. Your history stays on your device unless you choose cloud backup or join the leaderboard. Map and route providers receive the data needed for requests; your full walk history is not sent to them.\n\nRecording can work offline; maps and route planning need an internet connection. Accuracy depends on GPS and phone permissions. Background recording uses battery power and may need to be resumed after force-closing the app. \n\nA suggested route is an idea for a walk: follow signs, access restrictions and local conditions. Voice navigation is not included.\n\nBackups are optional. Sign in with Apple or Google in Settings → Account & backup, then save manually or enable daily automatic backups. Backups contain precise locations and timestamps and are stored privately with Firebase. Signing in alone does not upload history. Restore on another device using the same provider and account. Restore replaces local history; stop recording first. This is backup, not continuous synchronization. Delete the cloud backup or account in Settings; local history remains until separately deleted. Automatic timing depends on the operating system and connectivity.\n\nOPTIONAL TERRITORY LEADERBOARD\nJoin with a nickname to compare unique explored area from completed walks and runs. Repeat visits count once. Your nickname, area, rank and update time are public; activity coordinates are processed transiently by Firebase to calculate your score. Joining is separate from backup consent. Rename or leave at any time; offline removal completes after reconnecting. Each device replaces the score using its own history; histories are not merged.",
