"description": "OlympIQ is free practice for the AMC 10, AMC 12, and AIME. No ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscription.\n\nA RANK PER TOPIC, NOT ONE AVERAGE\n\nAlgebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics each keep their own XP and their own rank, from Bronze I to Global Platinum, eleven ranks in every topic. Nothing is averaged together, so a weak subject shows up instead of hiding behind a strong one. The leaderboards work the same way, one board for each of the four topics.\n\nWHAT IS IN THE APP\n\n- 3,234 past contest problems. AMC 10 A and B and AMC 12 A and B from 2002 to 2025, the 2000 and 2001 AMC 12, the 2002 AMC 12 P, the Fall 2021 contests, and AIME I and AIME II from 2005 to 2026.\n- Four topics: algebra 1,106 problems, geometry 983, combinatorics 574, number theory 571.\n- Filter a session by topic and by problem number. 1 to 10, 11 to 20, and 21 to 25 on the AMC; 1 to 5, 6 to 10, and 11 to 15 on the AIME.\n- Five letter choices on an AMC problem, a typed integer from 000 to 999 on an AIME problem, which is how the real contests ask.\n- XP only for a correct answer on your first attempt, once per problem. If you answer wrong and the correct answer is shown, that problem cannot pay again.\n- 36 mastery sets, one for every contest level, topic, and problem range, each with a one-time bonus for finishing it. A finished set can be reset to practice again for no XP.\n- A daily streak, and badges for streaks, problems solved, contests, topics, and friends, plus some that stay hidden until you earn them.\n- Friends you add by username, with report and block on any user's profile, reachable from the friends list, from search, and from the leaderboard.\n- Scratch paper on any problem. One finger draws, two fingers pan, and nothing is saved.\n- Bookmarks, and a History tab that lists only the problems you got wrong and empties as you fix them.\n\nWORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD\n\n- There are no worked solutions. You get the correct answer and whether you were right.\n- 56 of the 3,234 problems need a diagram that OlympIQ does not reproduce. Each of those shows a notice and a link to the matching page on the Art of Problem Solving wiki, which opens in your browser outside the app. That page carries the solution, so those 56 problems award no XP.\n- An account and a verified email address are needed before you can practice. OlympIQ is for ages 13 and up.\n- Your username is public. Another signed-in user who opens your profile can read your whole progress record, including which problems you attempted and which you got wrong. Your email address is never shown to anyone.\n- Your place on a leaderboard shows as a tier, such as Top 100, unless you are in the top ten. The boards are rebuilt about once an hour.\n\nTHE PROBLEMS AND THE LICENCE\n\nThe problems are past AMC and AIME problems, copyrighted by the Mathematical Association of America, used under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/. OlympIQ retypeset the problems and, in places, lightly edited or corrected them, so they may differ from the versions the MAA published.
