"description": "Ottolog is the airline pilot logbook that logs itself. Import your roster once and your flights write themselves into the logbook with the real recorded times after you land. Every number shows where it came from, so you can show a checker exactly why it says what it says.\n\nFLIGHTS LOG THEMSELVES\nTurn on Automated Logbook and Ottolog watches each rostered flight, even with the app closed. After you land it logs the real off-block, takeoff, landing and on-block times. Only flights it isn't sure about come to you for a quick look.\n\nEVERY NUMBER SHOWS ITS SOURCE\nLive flight data, your roster, a calculation, your own rule or your own correction: each field says which. Anything missing is shown as missing, never guessed.\n\nAPPLE WATCH\nTap Out, Off, On and In on your wrist. Times are kept on the watch and reach your iPhone later, even if it stayed in your bag, and they always land as one flight.\n\nCAPTAIN AND INSTRUCTOR SIGNATURES\nHand over your iPhone to be countersigned, or send a link they sign on the web, no app needed. Each signature is sealed to the values it covered. Edit a signed flight and it shows \"Changed after signing\" with the before and after.\n\nOFFICIAL PRINTED LOGBOOKS AND APPLICATION REPORTS\nEASA, FAA and ICAO page layouts in A4 or US Letter, with totals carried forward on every page. Plus the airline application hours report (PIC, SIC, multi-engine turbine, jet, night, instrument; last 12, 24 and 36 months), an FAA 8710 Section III worksheet and a one-file interview pack.\n\nFLIGHT LOOKUP\nSearch a flight or tail number and pick the leg. Recorded OUT, OFF, ON and IN times fill in from FlightAware with type, registration and route. Can't find it? You get a pre-filled manual entry, not a dead end.\n\nTRUE NIGHT TIME\nNight is calculated minute by minute along the route against the real sun position, not a flat percentage.\n\nBUILT FOR YOUR AUTHORITY\nChoose FAA, EASA or a general ICAO profile. Column names, pilot functions, recency rules and flight-time limits follow your choice.\n\nCURRENCY AND DUTY LIMITS\nLanding currency, medical and certificate expiry, plus rolling flight-time limits shown as instrument gauges that turn amber before anything lapses. Your roster is checked ahead of time so a limit is flagged before you fly it.\n\nYOUR ROSTER, IMPORTED\nSubscribe to your airline's calendar feed, read a calendar on your iPhone, open an export, paste it or take a screenshot. Ottolog recognises AIMS eCrew, NetLine/CrewLink, Jeppesen CrewAccess, Sabre, NAVBLUE, IBS, CrewTrac, RosterBuster and CrewLounge exports, and every listed format is tested on every build. Roster didn't read right? Send it in one tap, with your name and staff number removed first.\n\nBRING YOUR HISTORY WITH YOU\n- Scan your paper logbook from photos or a PDF. Every row is shown for your OK, unsure fields highlighted, page totals checked.\n- Import exports from LogTen, ForeFlight, CrewLounge PILOTLOG, mccPILOTLOG, Safelog, APDL and Logbook Pro, thousands of flights at a time.\n- Or just type your career totals, which then count in every chart and milestone.\n\nYOUR CAREER ON A MAP\nEvery route you've flown as arcs, upcoming flights dashed.\n\nCATCH YOUR CREW ON LAYOVERS\nShare your roster with friends you choose, at the level you choose: full detail, layovers only, or just busy and free. When your trips overlap, it shows up on its own.\n\nWORKS AT 38,000 FEET\nLogging, stats, the map, currency, limits and exports all work with no signal. Anything needing the network finishes when you reconnect.\n\nHARD TO LOSE\nTen snapshots stay on your iPhone. Sign in for 20 dated, encrypted backups and sync between devices that asks before overwriting anything.\n\nPRIVATE BY DEFAULT\nAn account is optional. Your logbook lives on your iPhone, locked behind Face ID or Touch ID. No ads, no tracking, no analytics.\n\nYou remain responsible for your record. No logbook app is certified by a regulator.\n\nTerms of Use: https://ottolog.rork.app/terms\nPrivacy: https://ottolog.rork.app/privacy",
