 "description": "The sky is falling in colour. Every meteor arrives tinted, and your cannon\nfires whatever light you load into it. Dial in red, green and blue, match the\nshade exactly, and one shot is enough. Miss the mix and the shot is spent for\nnothing.\n\nHOW IT PLAYS\n\nThree sliders feed one barrel. A meteor the colour of deep violet needs red\nand blue in the right measure; a pale one needs all three. Set the mix, aim,\nfire. A perfect match destroys the meteor and pays half the light back into\nyour tanks. A near miss strips one channel and leaves the rest falling.\n\nLight is finite. Every shot costs from the red, green and blue tanks, and the\ntanks only refill from clean kills. Waste shots and you run dry with the sky\nstill full. The tension is not your reflexes, it is your accounting.\n\nTHE PRISM SURGE\n\nClean play overflows your tanks, and the overflow charges the Prism Surge.\nFire it and the cannon runs on every wavelength at once for a few seconds: no\ndialling, nothing rejected, everything you touch dies. Tap it again to bank\nwhat is left and save those seconds for a wave that needs them.\n\nLet the Surge sit full and the overflow keeps going somewhere better.\n\nTHE CARD PICK\n\nOverflow past a full Surge earns a pick. Three cards rise, turn face up so you\nsee what is on offer, turn back down, and shuffle. Choose one and keep it:\n\n- PAUSE freezes the sky for five seconds\n- SLOW drops every meteor to a third speed\n- REWIND sends them back up the way they came\n\nBank enough overflow and the jokers disappear from the deal, until every card\non the table is worth having. Hold up to nine and play them when a wave turns.\n\nGATES\n\nEvery five waves the sky stops and you spend what you scored. Widen a colour\ntank, reinforce the dome, or deepen the Surge. Trade light between colours\nwhen one channel runs dry and another is brimming. Prices climb as you buy, so\na run is a series of choices about what you can afford to go without.\n\nTHE DAILY CHALLENGE\n\nOne run a day, and the same meteors in the same order for everyone playing\nthat day. No retries.
