"description": "Instead of \"Time to stop watching,\" a promise your child keeps by turning it off on their own.\n\nPromise Star is an app for parents. It gives your child a short burst of video time for things they did by themselves — going potty, brushing teeth, finishing a meal — and helps them practice turning the video off when time is up. Use it when you let your child watch something on your iPhone or iPad.\n\n■ How it works\n1. You set the promises and reward times. (e.g. I brushed my teeth! → 5 min)\n2. When your child keeps a promise, you unlock with your PIN and your child taps the promise.\n3. One button opens YouTube (or Netflix, Disney+). The time left shows as a shrinking circle on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.\n4. When time is up, a Promise Star screen covers the video app and a voice says \"Promise time is over.\" When your child taps \"I'll turn it off!\", a star gift arrives!\n5. If they leave it, the video app stays locked until you open Promise Star.\n\n■ The exciting Star Book\n- Every time your child turns it off themselves, a gift box opens and they meet a new star friend.\n- An exciting gift reveal with lights bursting in 24 colors!\n- 61 stars: sparkle stars, family stars, princess and prince stars, job stars, car stars and animal stars.\n- Collect the same star in 24 different colors.\n- Special seasonal stars, like Halloween stars, appear only at certain times of year.\n\n■ Features that put parents at ease\n- The app is always locked. You unlock it with your PIN for each promise, so your child can't create video time alone.\n- First-time setup walks you through the app your child watches and Screen Time locking in one go, with picture guides.\n- By default, only the apps you choose are locked, and only when reward time ends. Turn on \"Lock outside reward time\" to keep them locked the rest of the time too.\n- Watch history: see today's and this week's watch time, how often your child turned it off on their own, and the last 7 days.\n- You add and edit the promise list and times yourself. (Bath time, tidying up, nap time and more)\n- Chosen videos mode: when on, your child picks only from videos you chose. No wandering into search or recommended videos.\n- Record the guidance and time-up voice in Mom's or Dad's own voice.\n- Available in Korean, English and Japanese.\n\n■ Start for free\n- Free: up to 3 promises and 3 chosen videos.\n- Full version (one-time purchase): 12 promises, unlimited chosen videos, parent voice recording, and watch history (daily chart, comparison with last week, and a full year).\n- No ads, no subscriptions. The purchase screen opens only with your parent PIN.\n\n■ Permissions\n- Screen Time: needed to lock the apps you choose when reward time ends. The app does not read or send which apps were used or for how long.\n- Notifications: needed to tell you, with a voice, when time is up.\n- Microphone: used only to record a parent's voice. Recordings are stored only on the device.\n\n■ Privacy\nPromise Star has no sign-up and does not collect your child's personal information. All records, including watch history, are stored only on the device.\n\nRequires iOS 16 or later.",
