Use Open in Rule Markdown when another app offers it.\n\nREAD THE PLAN BEFORE THE NEXT STEP\n\nAsk an agent for a plan or README, save the Markdown file, and open the result on your phone or iPad. Follow the steps, find a detail, and review the code.\n\nKEEP THE USEFUL PARTS\n\n- Jump between sections with the outline or search for a phrase.\n- Read tables, task lists, footnotes, metadata, and code blocks.\n- Choose twelve palettes, plus System appearance, and set your text size.\n- Scroll wide tables and code sideways.\n- Switch to Source to see the original Markdown.\n- Copy a code block, selected text, or the rendered document.\n\nCopy Document offers Plain Text, Formatted Text, and HTML. Code line numbers stay out of copied code.\n\nKeep six recent files in the sidebar. Browse Recents searches up to 50 saved entries by name or location. Hide the list, clear it, or stop remembering files in Settings.\n\nSaved changes can update an open view, depending on the file and its provider. Reload Document rereads the saved file.\n\nLOCAL READING. ORIGINALS INTACT.\n\nNo ads. No account. Documents render on your device. Reading works offline once a file is available locally; cloud files may need to download first.\n\nRemote images are blocked. Allow a folder for supported local images and linked notes, then manage that access in Settings.\n\nThis is a viewer. Task boxes show their saved state. It opens Markdown text files up to 8 MiB, including .md and .mdx. MDX scripts and components do not run. Requires iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later.",
