Tap \"Start\"\n2. During the 5-4-3-2 countdown, hold the phone like a sword hilt at your left hip\n3. Hold still on 1\n4. When the phone vibrates and \"Draw!\" appears, draw, slash and stop\n\nDraw before the signal and it is a false start. Patience is part of iai.\n\nSCORED OUT OF 100\n- Edge alignment (40): does the blade's axis stay true while you swing?\n- Speed (30): how sharp is the draw? (capped, so swinging harder does not help)\n- Stop (20): does the blade stop cleanly at the end?\n- Arc (10): is the rotation the size of a real drawing cut?\nReach the pass mark and the target is cut along the angle of your slash. Fall short and the blade stops halfway.\n\nTHREE TARGETS\n- Straw mat / makiwara (pass: 60)\n- Bamboo (pass: 75)\n- Armor and helmet (pass: 90)\nStraw mat and bamboo can be challenged any number of times. For the armor, watch an ad to get 3 attempts, or unlock it with an in-app purchase that also removes all ads.\n\nPLAY SAFELY\n- Grip the phone firmly and use a wrist strap if you have one\n- Make sure no people, objects or walls are nearby before you swing\n- You do not need to swing with full force.
