"description": "Tired of practicing the same scales in the same order? ScaleDice picks your major scales at random, so every practice session starts fresh.\nTap Roll Dice and get a new set of major scales. Practice them in order, quizz yourself, or use them to test student knowledge.\n\nHOW MANY, AND HOW HARD\n\t•\tRoll anywhere from 1 to all 12 major scales at once.\n\t•\tChoose Easy, Medium, or Hard. Easy includes 2 scales from the friendly band keys (F, Bb, Eb, Ab at concert pitch), Medium includes 1, and Hard includes none.\nMADE FOR YOUR INSTRUMENT\n\t•\tPick your instrument and every scale is written the way you read it. Clarinet, trumpet, and tenor sax players see their own keys, and alto sax, bari sax, and horn players do too.\n\t•\tSupports flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, bari sax, trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, percussion, and a generic \"Other\" setting.\nLOCK AND RE-ROLL\n\t•\tTap a scale to lock it, then roll again to shuffle only the rest. Keep the one you need to work on and swap out the others.\nSEE THE KEY SIGNATURE\n\t•\tPress and hold any scale to see its key signature on a staff, with the right clef for your instrument, plus the notes of the scale from tonic to tonic.\nGREAT FOR MUSIC TEACHERS\n\t•\tMock auditions: roll a fresh set of scales for each student, just like an audition where you never know which keys you will get.\n\t•\tClassroom playing tests: choose the difficulty for your group, set the instrument, and roll. Lock a scale everyone should play, then roll the rest.\n\t•\tSwitch instruments in a tap and the same roll is rewritten in each player's keys, so a mixed band can be tested on the same set of scales.\nDESIGNED TO BE QUICK\n\t•\tSet your options on the Home screen and roll. Change them any time from Settings.\n\t•\tYour choices are remembered between sessions.\n\t•\tWorks on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with a layout that grows to fill the window.\n\t•\tNo account needed.\n\nWhether you are a student looking for a different warm-up, a teacher running mock auditions and playing tests, or a player who wants to stop picking the same keys, Scale Dice gives you a new set every time you roll.",
