A cursor shows exactly where your number sits between the neighbouring groups, and a three-beam diagram draws the static deflection test the number comes from.\nWeight is the second half of the story. Build an arrow from components — shaft gpi, point, insert, vanes, nock — and watch total weight, GPP and FOC update together. A diagram marks the balance point against the conventional 7–15 % band, and a warning appears the moment your build drops under the 5 grains-per-pound line compounds care about.\nThen the part nobody shows you in the shop: the force-draw curve. Select arrows archery integrates it — let-off valley included — to get stored energy, then splits it into speed, kinetic energy and momentum for any arrow weight. Slide from 300 to 500 grains and watch the trade plainly: speed falls, kinetic energy barely moves, momentum climbs.
