A tile holds one akshara, the way Nepali is actually read.\n\nAnd each tile is scored in two halves: the consonant and the vowel are judged separately. So a guess can tell you \"the consonant is right, the vowel is wrong\" — the kind of hint that makes a syllable-based word game solvable instead of a coin toss. Under each letter, a small mark names the vowel being scored, written in its independent form: आ, इ, ए. A bare consonant carries the unwritten अ, and the mark says so out loud rather than leaving you to guess what turned green.\n\nA DEVANAGARI KEYBOARD IS BUILT IN\n\nNo need to install a Nepali keyboard. Shabdle brings its own, with all 33 consonants, every vowel and every matra. Matra keys light up only when a consonant is waiting for one, so you always know what you can type next.
