"description": "SpectraScope is a kaleidoscope made of real glass. Every piece of coloured glass is ray-traced as it tumbles between the mirrors, so light bends, splits into colour and glows through it the way it does in a brass kaleidoscope.\n\nTURN IT LIKE THE REAL THING\n• Twist with two fingers to turn the tube, or turn the phone itself.\n• Shake firmly and the glass tumbles into a new view.\n• Soft glass chimes ring as the pieces touch. Turn them off any time.\n\nREACH IN AND STIR\n• Drag on the kaleidoscope to stir the glass under your finger.\n• Open the desk view to move pieces around the tray.\n\nLOOK THROUGH IT AT THE WORLD\n• The camera view turns what's around you into the view through the mirrors. Frames stay on your phone: nothing is recorded, saved or sent.\n\nA LAMP AND A CLOCK\n• Stand your phone up and SpectraScope becomes a slowly turning lamp with a clock.\n\nCLEAR, QUIET CONTROLS\n• Controls in Apple's Liquid Glass stay out of the way until you need them.\n• A built-in guard watches every frame for flashes and fast flicker and softens them. It respects Reduce Motion.\n\nSPECTRASCOPE PRO: ONE PURCHASE, YOURS TO KEEP\n• Glass Studio: your own palettes, four shape sets, and ten backlights, including dark backgrounds where the glass glows.\n• Cut, break and erase glass.\n• Three-mirror fields at 60°, 45° and 30°.\n• Unlimited gallery, and share your designs as pattern codes.\n• A lamp that changes to a new kaleidoscope every few minutes.\n\nNo ads. No account. No tracking.",
