"description": "Starting is the hard part.\n\nNot planning. Not organising. Not finding the perfect system. Just\nbeginning — when the task is clear, the time is there, and somehow you\nstill can't move.\n\nstart/ish is built for that moment.\n\nSAY IT, DON'T SORT IT\nType or speak whatever's on your mind. Messy is fine. No categories, no\npriorities, no setup. Speech is transcribed on your device.\n\nGET ONE SMALL STEP\nstart/ish reads what you wrote and gives back a single concrete action\nyou can begin in two minutes. Not a plan. Not a list. One step, small\nenough to actually start.\n\nTWO MINUTES IS ENOUGH\nA timer, then an honest question: did you keep going, make a dent, get\nset up, or do you need something smaller? Every answer is a real answer.\nNothing here tells you you're behind.\n\nA REFLECTION, READ ALOUD (PRO)\nEvery Sunday, start/ish looks back at the week you actually had and\nwrites a short reflection — grounded in your real starts, never\ninvented. Then it reads it to you, in whichever of ten voices you\nchoose, in the tone you've set. It's the one part of the app that asks\nnothing of you.\n\nLEARNS YOUR REAL TIMING\nTime Mirror notices the gap between when you plan to start and when you\nactually do, and quietly offers to adjust — only when there's a pattern\nworth adjusting for.\n\nALSO IN THE APP\n• Park a distracting thought without losing it\n• Bring your existing Apple Reminders in\n• See your own patterns — when you move, which days carry you\n• A technique each week, with the research behind it\n• Turn a screenshot into tasks (Pro)\n• A Lock Screen Live Activity while a start is running\n• A home screen widget showing your momentum\n• Reminders in your tone: gentle, encouraging, or direct\n• Nudges before a task's start window, not just at it\n• Siri and Shortcuts: \"start my two minutes\"\n• Calm or Playful — the whole app changes voice\n• Genmoji check-ins and a generated profile picture, on supported\n devices\n\nYOUR WORK STAYS YOURS\nWhat you write lives on your device. No feed, no streaks to break, no\nsocial pressure, no ads.\n\nFREE AND PRO\nThe app is free and unlimited — add tasks, start them, time them, finish\nthem, as often as you like. Free accounts get three AI-generated\nsuggestions each week. Pro removes that limit and adds the weekly spoken\nreflection, the technique library, screenshot capture, full insights\nhistory and more.\n\nstart/ish Pro is $9.99/month or $59.99/year with a 7-day free trial.\nPayment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.\nSubscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours\nbefore the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple\nAccount settings.\n\nTerms of Use: https://thriveos.app/terms\nPrivacy Policy: https://thriveos.app/privacy",
