"description": "Every tuner tells you the note. On a pedal steel, the note was never the\nquestion.\n\nSteel Tuner tunes each string to the chord your pedals and knee levers are\nactually making — so the chord rings instead of wobbling.\n\nA chromatic tuner wants every string at 0 cents. But press the A pedal and\nyour B strings become the third of an A chord, and a third tuned to 0 cents\nbeats about four times a second against the root. That's the restlessness you\nhear. Steel Tuner works out where each string should sit for the chord you're\nplaying, and moves every target the moment your foot moves.\n\nWHAT YOU GET\n\n• Targets that follow your feet. Press a pedal or lever and all ten strings\n are re-aimed for the new chord.\n\n• Honest about the strings that can't be fixed. On E9, strings 1, 4 and 7 are\n asked to be two different notes in different chords. Steel Tuner tells you\n which ones, shows what each compromise costs, and gives the stop-screw\n adjustment for the seven that can be fixed.\n\n• Watch the note settle. Two and a half seconds of pitch history show a string\n arriving sharp and settling, instead of a needle that jumps around.\n\n• Not stuck on whole-Hz steps. The notes this instrument cares about fall\n between the settings of a 440/441 tuner — a 1 Hz step is almost 4 cents.\n\n• Built on real charts. Starts from the published Emmons chart, and marks\n every number as measured or calculated so you always know which is which.\n\n• Your guitar, your setup. Every string, pedal, lever and half stop is\n editable — even mid-tune, with the bar in your hand. Share your setup with\n another player as a single file.\n\n• Cabinet drop kept separate, so you're never chasing two problems at once.\n\nNECKS\nE9, C6 and U-12 universal, plus C6 and E13 lap steel and open G resonator.\n\nPRIVATE BY DESIGN\nEverything happens on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking — nothing\nis recorded or sent.\n\nBuilt with a working steel player, against published charts.",
