No\nadvertising identifier, no data broker, no third-party analytics or crash\ntracking. We do not sell your family's data. It is stored with Google\nFirebase — the infrastructure millions of apps are built on — and protected\non the server, not on your phone, so a tampered copy cannot read another\nfamily's data.\n\nNor are you watched more closely than you expect. No read receipts, and a\ncopy of everything your circle holds is a button in your profile. Location\nsharing is a switch: turn it off and your position stops being written and\nthe map says you are not sharing. Delete your account and your data goes\nwith it.\n\nA MAP THAT TELLS THE TRUTH\n\nA pin is only shown as live while its fix is fresh. After a few minutes it\nfades, says when that person was last seen, and gets a dashed ring instead\nof pretending to be current. A 65-metre fix shows a visible uncertainty\nring. You will never be shown a confident dot that means nothing.\n\nHistory is a real window, not a hidden one: seven days on Free, thirty on\npaid, and older history is deleted automatically.\n\nTHE EVERYDAY THINGS\n\n• The shared calendar, RSVPs and reminders\n• The shopping list, on every wrist in the house\n• Chores, with a photo as proof\n• Notes, links and shared whiteboards\n• Chat, as the family thread or a private one\n\nARRIVE AND LEAVE\n\nSave the places that matter and syncd tells you when someone arrives or\nleaves. Each place keeps its own hours, so the alert says something useful:\nleft school early, running late from work.\n\nWHERE THE DAY WENT\n\nA weekly driving report from your location history: distance, top speed and\nrapid slowdowns, day by day.\n\nSAFETY\n\nSOS is included on every plan, and always will be. It works with no signal,\nqueued on the phone and delivered the moment it finds one. Paid plans add\npossible-collision detection: the phone notices a hard jolt and no movement,\nthen asks whether you are okay. Treat it as a helpful prompt, never as a\nsubstitute for emergency services.\n\nTHE SCRAPBOOK\n\nThe family's photographs in one place, big enough to fill any phone screen,\nwith a Recently Deleted bin for second thoughts. Family includes 100 GB of\nshared photo storage.\n\nFREE AND FAMILY\n\nFree is a real app: four people, the live map, chat, the shared calendar and\nlists, SOS, two saved places and seven days of history.\n\nFamily adds ten seats, thirty days of history, driving reports, unlimited\nplaces, notes, links and reminders, arrive-and-leave alerts, whiteboards,\nthe scrapbook and unlimited chat history — $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year.\n\nFamily Plus is the same plan with seats for twenty-five people — $19.99 a\nmonth or $199.99 a year.\n\nOne circle per account. If you stop paying, nothing is taken away — only the\nhistory window shortens.\n\nSUBSCRIPTIONS\n\nFamily is $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Family Plus is $19.99 a month or\n$199.99 a year. The Family plan includes a 7-day free trial. Payment is\ncharged to your Apple Account at purchase.
