"description": "Ten card games from Haryana and North India, in one app, with the rules the\nway they are actually played at the table.\n\nDEHLA PAKAD\nCatch the tens. Four players, two teams, and a hand that can turn on the last\ntrick — win seven tricks and still lose if the tens go the other way. Call\nTrump and Cut Hukum both supported, with Sirs on or off.\n\nCOURT PIECE\nRang, Sir, Coat Piece. All three forms: Single Sir, Double Sir and Hidden Rung,\neach a genuinely different game rather than a renamed one.\n\nCALL BREAK\nLakdi. Four players, no partners, spades always trump. Call your tricks and get\npaid or docked against them. The strict legality rules are the real ones: you\nmust overtake in suit and you must overtrump when void.\n\nMINUS\nCall Break the way Haryana plays it. Five cards, then a lap of trump calls at\n5, 6 or 7; a second lap where a call of ten takes the trump; everyone calls at\nleast two. Make your call exactly or lose it from your total, which can fall\nbelow zero. Five deals, or first to 21, 31, 51 or a number of your own.\n\nBHABHI\nThulla. Get rid of your cards. Winning a trick is the last thing you want,\nbecause the highest card of the suit picks up when somebody cannot follow.\nThree to six players.\n\nBEGGA KAAT\nDuck the begams and the paan. The player with the highest total loses.\n\nTEEN DO PAANCH\n3-2-5. Three players, three quotas: the dealer must take two tricks, the\nplayer after the dealer five — and names trump from their first five cards —\nand the third player three.\n\nMENDIKOT\nThe Maharashtra cousin of Dehla Pakad: four players, two teams, and the tens\ndecide it.\n\nJUDGEMENT\nKachuful. Bid exactly the tricks you will take, and the ladder changes the\nrules every hand.\n\nKLONDIKE SOLITAIRE\nTaash Patti. Draw-1 and draw-3, Standard and Vegas scoring — and the deals are\nsolved in advance, so the game you are given can be won.\n\nWHY THIS ONE\n\nRules that match the table. Every contested rule is a setting, not a guess, and\nthe defaults were chosen from how these games are actually played in Haryana —\nnot from whichever version was easiest to code.\n\nBots that are honest. Every bot is labelled as a bot, at the table and in the\nlobby. You are told before you sit down if a table will be filled with them.\nNone of them can see your cards.\n\nPlays offline. Every table in this version is on your own device and needs no\nconnection at all.\n\nHindi, Hinglish, Urdu, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Nepali and English\nthroughout, with the desi names kept as the desi names.\n\nNo coin purchases. Coins are earned by playing and cannot be bought, traded or\ncashed out. There is no wagering here of any kind.",
