 "name": "Tension Tap: Racquet Strings",
 "tagline": "Tap your strings",
 "description": "Tap your strings. See the tension.\n\nHold your phone close to the string bed, tap the strings, and Tension Tap turns the ping into a tension in pounds and kilograms. It works with tennis, badminton and squash racquets.\n\nREADS WHAT YOUR STRINGER SET\nRight after a restring, enter the tension you strung at and take one set of taps. From then on, readings are on your stringer's scale: a racquet strung at 55 lb reads 55 lb, and you can watch it fall from there.\n\nFIVE TAPS, AVERAGED\nEach reading is the average of five taps. You see how far apart they were, and a set that doesn't agree is flagged so you can take it again.\n\nA READING OR A REASON\nEvery tap gets an answer. When the app can't measure, it says why: too quiet, too noisy, a vibration damper on the strings, or a pitch outside the range for that sport.\n\nKNOW WHEN TO RESTRING\nEach racquet keeps its own history. A chart shows the tension falling since the last stringing, and the racquet is marked once it drops past the point you choose.\n\nMADE FOR\n• Home and club stringers checking a fresh job\n• Players and parents who look after several racquets\n• Badminton players, with badminton as a full mode of its own\n\nALSO\n• Hybrid string beds: enter mains and crosses separately\n• Pounds or kilograms\n• Export your history as a spreadsheet file (CSV)\n\nHONEST ABOUT THE NUMBERS\nTension Tap estimates tension from the sound of the strings. It is a consistent way to track your racquets, not a laboratory instrument.\n\nOne price. No subscription, no account, no ads. Works offline. The microphone is used only to hear the ping; nothing is recorded or sent.",
