"description": "VS Scout is a virtual recce tool for filmmakers, photographers and drone pilots. You can stand anywhere on the planet in photorealistic 3D, look through the camera and lens you'll actually shoot on, and see the light at the exact time you plan to be there.\n\nFRAME IT FOR REAL\n• Real camera bodies and lenses, from ARRI to DJI, with the correct sensor sizes and fields of view.\n• Zoom, prime lens sets, T-stop, focus and exposure.\n• Frame lines and a live HUD showing heading, height and focal length.\n\nLIGHT IT FOR REAL\n• Accurate sun position for any date, time and place. Type a time or scrub the slider.\n• Sun path: see the sun's arc across the sky for the day, with hour marks, sunrise and sunset.\n• Atmosphere, fog, volumetric clouds and moonlight, from golden hour to night.\n• See where the shadows fall before you arrive.\n\nMOVE LIKE YOU WILL ON THE DAY\n• Ground, Aerial, Map and AR modes.\n• Drone-style dual-stick controls (Mode 2), one-finger look and pinch-to-zoom.\n• AR mode: hold up your iPad or iPhone and use it as a virtual viewfinder.\n• Camera moves: add keyframes, then preview or record a smooth dolly or drone move.\n• Works in landscape and portrait on iPhone and iPad.\n\nCAPTURE AND SHARE\n• Search any address, or drop a pin on the globe.\n• Save stills and video takes to your Photos library.\n• Each file carries camera metadata: location, heading, lens and focal length, plus a JSON sidecar for your pipeline.\n• Build a shot list per project and export it as CSV.\n\nBuilt by Visualskies, an aerial and virtual production company, for real-world prep.\n\nMap data ©Google.
