"description": "Give today a number. Try to land on it.\n\nWafflet is a budget planner played like a game. Set a limit for the day, log what you spend, and at midnight the day closes as a quest with one of three results.\n\nTHREE WAYS A DAY CAN END\n- Saved: you spent under 90% of your limit. Worth 15 to 25 XP.\n- Bullseye: you landed in the last 10%. Worth 30 XP, the most a day can pay.\n- Overspent: you went past the limit. It costs 10 XP and resets your streak. Tomorrow is a new quest.\n\nSpending your whole plan is the best result, not the worst. The skill is planning accurately, not going without.\n\nKNOW BEFORE YOU SAVE\nBefore an expense is added, one line tells you what it will do to today: what it leaves, whether it lands in the bullseye zone, or how far over it takes you.\n\nBUDGET THE WAY YOU THINK\nPlan by day, week or month. The daily quest is suggested from your budget and stays editable. A week or month you join late is pro rated to the days that are left.\n\nGET BETTER AT IT\nEarn XP across eight levels, from First step to Free. Keep a streak going and collect eight badges, including Quiet day, Sharpshooter and Bounce back. Your score is worked out from your plan and your expenses every time it is shown, so fixing a mistyped expense corrects the result, the streak and the XP together.\n\nA KEYPAD BUILT FOR MONEY\nA 000 key for currencies without cents, a decimal key for those with, and plus, minus and equals for a bill in parts.\n\nPAY IN ANY CURRENCY\nQuests are counted in your home currency. A foreign expense is converted at that day's reference rate and both amounts are kept. Offline, the last known rate is used and the amount is marked as an estimate until the real rate arrives.\n\nREMINDERS THAT STAY ON YOUR DEVICE\nQuest results the morning after, a nudge on the last day of a week or month, and an optional evening check in. All are local notifications.\n\nPRIVATE BY DESIGN\nNo account, no bank login, no analytics, no ads. Your budget and expenses are stored on your device. The only thing the app downloads is a public table of exchange rates, and only when you log an expense in a foreign currency.\n\nWAFFLET PLUS\nPlus adds Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and Apple Watch, so you can see what is left today and log from your wrist. Quests, XP, levels, streaks and badges are free forever.\n\nWafflet Plus is an auto-renewable subscription:\n- 3 months: US$6.99 every 3 months\n- Yearly: US$14.99 a year\nPrices vary by country. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.\n\nTerms of use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/\nPrivacy policy: see the Privacy Policy link on this page.",
