Alphabeta lets you invent your own secret code: pick a symbol for every letter and write texts only people who know your alphabet can read.
CREATE YOUR ALPHABET Give each letter a character, a symbol or an emoji, or draw it with your finger: it becomes a real character you can also export as a font. Start from a reversed alphabet or a shift like ROT13, add accented letters and letter groups, and save as many configurations as you like.
A LANGUAGE OF YOUR OWN Beyond the alphabet you can invent words: a vocabulary with pronunciations you can listen to, and rules for how words start and end, like an invented plural.
WRITE AND DECODE Text changes as you type and goes back in a tap. Copy it, share it and find everything again in History.
MESSAGES Write to each other in your alphabet: one-to-one chats and small groups, started with an invitation you share. Messages are end-to-end encrypted with MLS, an open standard: the service only sees unreadable text. The original words of a message appear only when you ask.
SECRET DIARY AND NOTEBOOK The Notebook keeps your texts written in your alphabet, ready to export as PDF, text or an image. The private Diary is encrypted on your phone, opens only with its own password and comes with a recovery key and encrypted backups.
YOUR WAY Choose the colours, the interface font and, if you like, a matching app icon. Alphabeta speaks English, Italian and French.
NO ACCOUNT NEEDED Alphabet, Write, History, Notebook and Diary work without an account and offline. With an account you find your alphabets, history and preferences on your other devices, and you can use Messages.
A substitution alphabet is for fun and personal writing, not for protecting sensitive data: for that there are the Diary and Messages, which are truly encrypted.
