About
BANA-SCAN measures bananas. Rigorously. Pointlessly.
Point your camera at a banana and tap SCAN. BANA-SCAN reads the live frame — isolating the silhouette, fitting a curve to the spine, and sampling width along its length — then returns a scorecard: curve angle, length, width, an overall rating, and a tier ranging from the distinguished to the frankly disappointing.
The measurements are real. The seriousness is not.
WHAT IT DOES • Measures curve angle, length and width from your live camera • Scores each specimen and assigns it a tier • Shows a confidence reading, so you know how much to trust it • Says "no specimen detected" rather than inventing a number • Exports your scan history as a PDF, for reasons known only to you
PRIVACY Frames are analysed on your device and discarded immediately. Nothing is photographed, saved to your photo library, or uploaded. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. BANA-SCAN collects nothing at all.
A NOTE ON ACCURACY This is a novelty app. Measurements are estimated from a single camera view without a reference object, so treat them as entertainment rather than science. BANA-SCAN claims no nutritional, agricultural or botanical authority. It simply prefers bananas with good posture.
