Bindery is a reading tracker that stays out of your way.

Scan a book's barcode or search by title, and it's on your shelf. Log where you got to. That's the whole loop — everything else builds on those two actions.

WORKS ENTIRELY OFFLINE

Your library lives on your device. There's no account to make, nothing to sign into, and no server waiting on you. Track books on a plane, on the tube, anywhere. The only time Bindery reaches the network is to look up a book you're searching for, and those lookups are anonymous.

FINDS BOOKS OTHER APPS MISS

Bindery searches Open Library and Google Books together, which matters for regional editions — Indian printings especially — that one catalogue alone tends to miss. If a book genuinely isn't in either, add it by hand and keep going.

SEES YOUR READING CLEARLY

Pages per day, reading streaks, a six-month heatmap, and a year that fills in as you go. All of it logged automatically as you update progress: there's no separate diary to keep.

Finish a book and Bindery asks the useful questions — a rating in half stars, how it felt, how fast it moved. Later, that becomes a wrap-up worth reading for any period you choose.

YOUR DATA, ACTUALLY YOURS

Export your whole library to CSV whenever you like — a plain file you can open in a spreadsheet without this app. Import from Goodreads, StoryGraph, or any CSV export, so moving in takes seconds rather than an evening. Backups are written automatically to your device.
