BoxTrail: Box Inventory

Which box holds the charger? Where did you put the winter scarves?

BoxTrail helps you record what is in each box and where it is stored. Use it while packing for a move, then keep organizing closets, storage rooms and seasonal belongings.

• Record your boxes: add a box number, name, location, photos, keywords and notes. Choose an optional small, medium or large relative size. • Find your things: search box numbers, names, locations, keywords and notes. • Organize locations: save rooms and shelves, move selected boxes together, and undo the last batch move. • Make box labels: save or print label PDFs. Look up a box number or scan its label to open the matching local record. • Export a list: save a CSV inventory. Photos are not included in CSV files. • Keep a full backup: export records with photos, then validate and restore the backup when needed. Restoring replaces the current library.

Recording and search work locally. No app account is required. Automatic cross-device inventory sync and family inventory sharing are not included. Before replacing your phone or uninstalling the app, save a full backup outside the app.

Create up to 5 boxes for free. A one-time non-consumable purchase permanently unlocks creation beyond the fifth box, with no subscription. Viewing, searching, editing, deleting, exporting and restoring existing records remain available without a purchase. Storage limits still apply: up to 5,000 boxes, 12 photos per box and 4 GiB of photo data, subject to available device space.
