About
Your brain says no. Your thumb says yes.
Brain Says No is a 60-second swipe game built around the Stroop effect: the word says one thing, the ink says another, and the rule decides which one to trust. Read the rule, swipe the card, and don't let your instincts win.
HOW IT PLAYS • Read the rule bar. It tells you which way to swipe, and it can flip in the middle of a run. • Swipe the card or tap a button before the ring empties. • You get 60 seconds and 3 lives. Every hit scores, a streak of 5 doubles your points and a streak of 10 triples them. That is FEVER. • The last 10 seconds pay 20% extra, so finish strong.
SEVEN DECKS, SEVEN WAYS TO TRICK YOUR BRAIN • Color Clash: the classic Stroop task. Respond to the ink, ignore the word. • Direction Trap: word, arrow and position all fight for your thumb. • Date Deck: weekend or weekday? Ignore the vibes. • Flock: follow the middle fish while the school disagrees. • Size Showdown: bigger number or bigger print? The rule decides. • Big Picture: forest or trees? Read the shape at the cued level. • Count Trap: count the words, ignore what they say.
A DIRECTOR THAT KEEPS PACE WITH YOU An adaptive Director watches how you play and shapes the next cards. It tightens the screws while you are on a roll, and gives you a breather after a stumble, so every round stays challenging without feeling unfair.
PAY ONCE, PLAY ANYWHERE One purchase. No ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no tracking. Everything works offline, on the train, on a plane, in the queue.
45 LANGUAGES Play in your own language, including full right-to-left layouts for Arabic and Urdu.
WHO IT'S FOR • Anyone who wants a quick brain game that is actually a game. • Fans of puzzle, reflex and focus challenges who are tired of ads and energy timers. • Curious minds who have heard of the Stroop test and want to feel it for themselves. • Short breaks: a full round takes one minute.
Brain Says No is a game, not a clinical or diagnostic test. It is built to challenge your reflexes and train your focus, and it does not claim to treat anything or make you smarter. Have fun fighting your own instincts.
