Build It Yourself: Room Design

Plan a room without learning drafting software first. Build It Yourself brings room previews, room-photo recoloring, material choices, and budget planning together, so you can turn an idea into a plan to discuss with family or a designer.

• Start with a living room, bedroom, or workspace template. Change floors, walls, furniture, lighting, layouts, and camera views. • Add a room reference photo, move or rotate furniture, save the layout, and use dimensioned sample storage models. • View the photo's dominant colors and brightness on-device. Manually select a four-corner area, recolor it, compare Original and Result, and export the study. • Optionally scan with RoomPlan on supported LiDAR iPhone or iPad hardware; other devices retain sample spaces and photo features. • Save materials, organize quantities, delivery and installation estimates, and share an itemized breakdown. • Traditional Chinese and English are supported. No account is required and core features work offline.

Photo recoloring uses manual selection and local pixel processing. It does not provide AI photorealistic remodeling, automatic furniture recognition, automatic wall segmentation, or measured illuminance. Photos, scans, and layouts stay on the device and are not uploaded automatically.

Materials, suppliers, prices, and storage models are bundled examples. Visuals, scans, and estimates are for early planning, not construction drawings or a contractor's final quote. Dimension notes do not resize the 3D room or calculate quantities. Confirm dimensions, methods, and costs with a qualified professional.
