Bukva Slovo is an offline word game for two or more people on one phone. One player explains, the others guess. There is no account, no ads, and no internet connection: open the app and play.
The interface and the entire word list are in Ukrainian.
HOW TO PLAY The explainer sees a word and a set of numbered hidden letters. A guesser, without looking at the screen, calls out a number. The explainer reveals that letter and may explain the word only with words that start with it. Saying the word itself, words from the same root, or a translation is not allowed. The players watch the rule themselves. Tap Guessed to award a point, or Skip if the word cannot be explained.
TWO MODES Timed. A turn lasts a set number of seconds, and the explainer may get through several words. The first player to reach the target score wins. Untimed. There is no timer: one turn is one word. The game continues until you tap End game.
FOR A GROUP Choose how many letters appear, how long a turn lasts, the score needed to win, and the word difficulty. It fits a party, a trip, or a family evening.
The current game is saved on the phone. If you leave the app, you can resume, and the timer does not run in the background.
