In short

Bunvi is a daily food and activity journal where you type meals in plain words, such as "a bowl of plov", and it works out calories, protein, carbs and fat. It is aimed at people who want to log meals and workouts in one place, with local food measured against that country's nutrition sources. One notable feature is that each number shows the published source it came from and how confident the app is.

About

Write a line. Bunvi does the rest.

Bunvi is a daily food and activity journal that feels like writing a note. Type what you ate the way you would say it: "two slices of rye bread with butter", "a bowl of plov", "a chicken shawarma wrap". Bunvi works out the calories, protein, carbs and fat.

EVERY NUMBER SHOWS ITS SOURCE Most calorie apps give you a figure and ask you to trust it. Bunvi shows you where it came from: the published sources it read and how confident it is. If something looks wrong, tap the line and rewrite it, and Bunvi works it out again.

LOG IT HOWEVER IS EASIEST • Type it in your own words • Say it out loud • Photograph your plate • Scan a barcode • Photograph a restaurant menu and log the dish you ordered • Save meals you eat often and log them again in one tap

FOOD FROM WHERE YOU ACTUALLY ARE Tell Bunvi where you are from and where you live, and it looks in that country's nutrition sources first, so local food is measured against local tables rather than a database from the other side of the world. Turn on location and it follows you when you travel.

WORKOUTS AND RUNS ON THE SAME PAGE Log a run, a gym session or a walk in the same note as your meals. Bunvi keeps the numbers you give it and never invents figures you did not provide.

BUILT TO BE OPENED OFTEN • Your day at a glance: calories and macros against your goals • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets • Water tracking • Apple Health: writes what you eat, reads back what you burn • Light and dark mode • Available in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian
