By MERGEABLE PTY LTD · ProductivityWhy we expect it: A clear, focused utility that solves a real annoyance, with a well-explained countdown and Keep Open safeguard.
In short
Bye Tab for Safari is a Safari extension that closes browser tabs automatically when their URLs match patterns you set. It suits people who regularly end up with leftover sign-in redirects, meeting launch pages, or confirmation screens. When a matching page loads, a card appears in the top right with a few seconds of countdown, and a Keep Open button stops the tab from closing.

A Safari extension that automatically closes tabs whose URL matches given patterns.
Meeting launch pages, sign-in redirects and "you can close this window" screens tend to stick around long after they're useful. Give Bye Tab a few URL patterns and it closes those tabs for you.
When a matching webpage loads, a small card appears in the top right corner and a bar fills over a few seconds. Once it's full, the tab closes. To stay on the page, click Keep Open and that tab is left alone until you close it.
