Keep track of birthdays and anniversaries, and find the right words for family, friends and colleagues – no account needed.

IMPORTANT DATES, YOUR WAY • Choose a time and how far ahead to be reminded: 30, 14, 7, 3, 2 or 1 day before, and on the day. Add birthdays, wedding anniversaries or your own occasions, such as a name day. • By default: a week before, the day before and on the day. Want a follow-up? Choose every three hours on the day until 9 pm, until you tap “Done”. • Each reminder opens the greeting for that occasion. Milestone birthdays and anniversaries are recognized and highlighted.

WORDS THAT SOUND LIKE YOU • Choose from curated greetings by relationship and tone: warm, funny or formal. Templates are free to use, offline and unlimited. • Edit any message, share it on WhatsApp or another app, or copy it. You always tap “Send” yourself.

KEEP GIFT IDEAS TOGETHER • Keep gift ideas for each person, mark gifts as given with the year, and add an extra reminder for the gift if you like. • Link people to Christmas Eve/Christmas, St. Nicholas Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. Get one notification for gifts 30 days before Christmas, or 7 days before other holidays. • Byrthday calculates movable dates for you.

AI, ONLY IF YOU WANT IT • Optional: create a personalized AI greeting from a first name, occasion, tone, relationship, age or number of years where relevant, and your own keywords. 5 AI requests are free, for greetings and gift ideas combined; an internet connection is needed. • The app asks for your consent first. For AI texts, these details go to our server and then to OpenAI. • Optional AI gift ideas use the occasion, interests and budget, without a name.

YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE • No account or sign-up. Occasions and settings are stored on your device. Reminders are local notifications, with no push server. • Contacts import is optional: choose what to bring in. The import happens on your device; no contact data is sent. • Calendar access is optional: import birthdays from your calendars or add occasions to a separate “Byrthday” calendar. Other calendars stay unchanged. • Back up and sync with a file in your own storage, such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive – no Byrthday account needed. • Ask for birthdays or share anniversaries and other occasions via a link. • Usage statistics and crash reports are optional and off by default.

PLUS, IF YOU WANT MORE • Byrthday Plus includes up to 30 AI requests a day and at most 300 in 30 days (greetings and gift ideas combined), home and lock screen widgets with a countdown, and no ads. • Alarm mode with Plus: on the day a real alarm sounds, even in silent or Focus mode, then hourly until 9 pm. Real alarms need iOS 26 on iPhone; otherwise you get a time-sensitive notification. • Choose a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription (with a 7-day free trial) or a one-time purchase. • The free version shows small banners, never between a reminder and a greeting.

GOOD TO KNOW • Switch between German and English in the app. Large text is supported. • Whether and when reminders appear depends on your device’s notification and battery settings.
