About
Lights on. Signal off.
Cabin is an AI that lives on your iPhone. Not in a data centre, not on someone else's server. Right there in your pocket.
Switch on Airplane Mode and it still answers. On a plane, in the hills, in a basement with one bar of signal. Your questions, your drafts and your photos stay on your iPhone, because there is nowhere else for them to go.
WHICH IPHONES? Cabin works on iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 14 or later. Because the AI runs on your iPhone and not in the cloud, it needs either Apple Intelligence or at least 6 GB of memory. On an iPhone that can't run it, Cabin tells you straight away, before anything downloads.
START IN SECONDS Cabin uses Apple's built-in on-device model, so you can start chatting the moment you open it. No sign-up, no account, no waiting.
WHO'S HOME? Invite more models to move in. Qwen, Gemma and Ministral each bring their own personality, and each one gets its own cabin with its own colored window. Switch between them at any time, even halfway through a conversation. The new model reads what came before and carries on.
SHOW IT A PHOTO Snap a plant, a menu, a sign or a fridge full of leftovers and ask about it. Models that see photos look closely, think it through, then answer.
THINKS IT THROUGH For trickier questions, some models can reason step by step before they reply. You can peek at their thinking, or tap Answer now if you're in a hurry.
MOVING IN Models download in the background while you keep chatting. Watch each pane of the window light up as it arrives, right in your Dynamic Island. Cabin only offers models your iPhone can comfortably run.
MADE TO FEEL AT HOME Cabin is built to feel like part of iOS: clean, quiet and quick. Replies can come as a ready-to-send draft you can copy or pass straight to Messages. Tell it once how you like it to talk, and every model follows.
YOURS, AND ONLY YOURS No accounts. No ads. No tracking. No analytics. Chats stay on your iPhone until you delete them, and you can export them all whenever you like. The only time Cabin touches the internet is to download a model you asked for.
GOOD TO KNOW • The built-in model needs a device with Apple Intelligence turned on. • Downloadable models need an iPhone with enough memory, such as iPhone 15 Pro or later. Cabin checks for you and only shows what fits. • Models are a few gigabytes each. You can download on Wi-Fi only.
