About

Cables behind desks and inside racks are never neatly organized. They tangle together, with labels attached to only one end, forcing people to rely on memory when moving or replacing equipment. Cable Label Wall transforms each cable into a pair of wall-mounted tags: including number, type, approximate length, devices and ports at both ends, heat-shrink tube color, and whether the cable carries power. It doesn't read chips or manage tool checkouts—it simply helps you check the wall before making any physical changes. Temporary patch cables must have an expiration date noted; if left hanging past their due date, they'll be highlighted in red. If one end is changed but not the other, the wall will flag this inconsistent data separately. Unused cables go into inventory, and before unplugging a device, the wall tells you exactly which cables will be affected. Ideal for turning a chaotic mess into a traceable local labeling system—saving you from having to reseat every single cable.
