Caffeine Hunter

Caffeine Hunter is a field guide to specialty coffee, started by a coffee obsessive who spent years travelling for work and never trusted a random search to find a good cup.

Every shop in the guide is chosen on one rule: it has to be genuinely worth a detour. No chains, no tourist traps, no scraped ratings, no self promotion. Just serious coffee, city by city, around the world.

FIND COFFEE NEAR YOU Open the app in a city we cover and see the closest shops first, with distance, opening hours and whether they are open right now. Switch to the map to see every shop around you at a glance.

FILTER FOR WHAT YOU NEED Looking for wifi, a place to work on a laptop, outdoor seating, vegan options, or step free access? Filter the guide down to the shops that fit.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Each shop page tells you what makes the place special, what to order, who runs it, and exactly how to get there, so you can plan a stop in a city you have never visited.

ON YOUR WRIST See the nearest open cafés on your Apple Watch, with opening hours and directions.

PLAN A TRIP Save cafés to a trip before you travel, and they are there offline when you arrive.

YOUR PASSPORT Keep a record of every café you have visited, by city and country. Arrival reminders can nudge you when you reach a shop. Sign in with Apple, Google or email to back it up, or skip the account and keep everything on your phone.

NO TRACKING We do not track you. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time.

The guide keeps growing, with new cities and shops added all the time. If we are missing your favourite, tell us at caffeinehunter.com and it may well make the next update.
