About

Cairn is a place for three things, every night.

Not a journal you have to keep up with. Not a habit tracker that punishes you for missing a day. Just a quiet moment before bed to write down three small things — a warm cup of tea, a walk in the evening light, a kind message from a friend.

HOW IT WORKS

Each night, Cairn asks for three things. Type them or speak them. That's it. No prompts to answer, no mood scores, no onboarding questionnaire. When you're done, Cairn says goodnight and gets out of your way until tomorrow.

LOOK BACK, NOT JUST FORWARD

Every entry becomes part of your archive. Search it by a word, a place, a name. Browse by month. And each night, Cairn quietly shows you what you wrote a year ago tonight — a small, unexpected way to notice how far you've come.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN

Add the Cairn widget and a past night sits on your home or lock screen — a glance back before you've even opened the app.

WHAT'S FREE, WHAT'S NOT

Writing your three things every night is free, forever. A one-time unlock (no subscription) adds voice entry, full archive search and export, and the widget.

Cairn keeps no streak counter and sends no guilt-trip notifications. Miss a night, or a month — it'll be there whenever you come back.
