In short

Cane a Spasso is a health and fitness app for logging outdoor walks and bike rides on iPhone, either by importing workouts from Apple Watch via Health or by recording GPS directly. It keeps a private diary of routes, splits, elevation, and notes, with no account and no social feed. One standout detail: all archives and analysis stay on the device, and GPX and JSON exports are available.

About

Every outing has a story. Cane a spasso helps you find it again, from a daily walk to a bike ride: route, time, elevation, and workout data collected in a personal iPhone diary.

START WITH APPLE WATCH Start an Outdoor Walk or Outdoor Cycle in Apple Watch’s Workout app. After you enable the connection in Cane a spasso, workouts available in Apple Health can be imported automatically. A local notification confirms that an outing was saved; details update as Health makes them available. Timing depends on synchronization between your Watch, iPhone, and iOS.

OR RECORD WITH IPHONE Start GPS, pause when you need to, and save your outing. Recording can continue while the screen is locked when the required permissions are granted.

FIND EVERY ROUTE See the area map, follow your trace, and move the cursor to connect position, elevation, speed, and available heart rate. The elevation chart shows the profile of your route, while splits help you read the outing mile by mile.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS Review distance, duration, pace or speed, estimated moving time, and elevation gain. Filter your diary by activity and follow training load, fitness, and fatigue over time. Add notes and perceived effort so you remember how each outing felt.

A PRIVATE DIARY No account is required. Your archive and analysis stay on your device. Export GPX routes and a JSON archive, or erase your local workout copy whenever you want. There is no social feed or advertising.

GOOD TO KNOW • Supports outdoor walking and cycling. • Connects to Apple Watch through Workout and Health. There is no dedicated watchOS app and no live Watch heart-rate stream on iPhone. • Heart rate, energy, respiratory rate, power, and cadence appear only when provided by the source. Exercise respiratory rate is not guaranteed. • Saved routes and charts can be viewed offline. Apple Maps basemap tiles may require an internet connection. • Fitness, fatigue, training load, and elevation gain are descriptive estimates, not medical assessments. • GPS routes recorded on iPhone remain in the app and are not written to Health. • JSON exports are readable and unencrypted; JSON restore is not included.

Try the demo data to explore the screens before connecting Health.
