Chinese Almanac & Calendar is a reference tool for the traditional Chinese calendar, showing lunar dates, solar terms, and the suitable or unsuitable activities recorded for each day from 1900 to 2100. It suits people who want to consult the traditional almanac for occasions such as weddings or moving house. It works offline, has no ads or account, and presents the almanac entries as cultural reference rather than forecasts.

Chinese Almanac & Calendar is a reference tool for the traditional Chinese calendar, the system your family may know as 黃曆, 通勝 or 農民曆. Look up any date from 1900 to 2100 and see its lunar date, solar term and stem-branch cycle, along with the activities the traditional almanac records as suitable or unsuitable for that day.
Planning a wedding, a move or an opening? Pick the occasion, and the app lists upcoming dates the almanac records as suitable for it. Add one straight to your calendar, or set a reminder for the day before.
• Month calendar with lunar dates, solar terms and traditional festivals • Each day's suitable and unsuitable activities, clashing animal sign and adverse direction • Choose a Date for 8 occasions: weddings, moving into a home, building and renovation, signing a contract, opening for business, travel, offerings and worship, burial • Add a chosen date to your calendar, or get a reminder the day before • Notifications the day before solar terms and traditional festivals • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets • Share any day as an image card • English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese • The calendar works fully offline. No ads, no account, no data collected
Free: the calendar, day details, widgets, notifications, reminders, sharing, and Choose a Date for the next 7 days. An optional one-time purchase unlocks the full date range in Choose a Date and the traditional basis behind each day: day officer, day deity, lunar mansion, Peng Zu, fetal spirit and nayin.
The 宜/忌 entries come from the traditional Chinese almanac and are provided as cultural and historical reference. They record a centuries-old body of custom and are not a forecast of events.
